Venny holds a MSc in International Development and BA in Political Science. She brings almost 15 years of international experience in coordinating health and social protection programs in the non-profit sector. She has worked on multiple levels from multilateral organizations to international NGOs and grassroots organizations. She is active in the global digital rights movement and feels passionate about connecting digital and abortion rights.

Veronica Fernandez Montes

Veronica Fernandez Montes holds an MSc in Global Health from the Karolinska Institute. She has a strong background and extensive experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in supporting people with disabilities. Her professional and volunteer efforts have taken her across various countries in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. For over a decade, she has passionately advocated for sexual and reproductive health and rights. She is also dedicated to integrating feminism into management practices.

Daniela Andreassi
Helpdesk Coordinator and LATAM Outreach Coordinator

Daniela joined Women on Web in 2022. She has an extensive history of activism and has been a dedicated advocate for legal, free and safe abortion in Argentina for many years. Daniela is also an integral part of grassroots feminist accompaniment networks, that have contributed significantly to the advancement of reproductive rights in the region. She is a ceramist and has a Master’s degree in Aesthetics and Art Theory.

Sangeetha holds an MA in Gender and Women’s Studies and Sociology and a BSc in Nutrition and Community Health. She currently leads Women on Web’s outreach initiatives in the Asia and Pacific region. She brings over 9 years of experience managing multi-country sexual and reproductive health projects and sees project management as a space for creative problem-solving.

Amalia holds a MSi in Women Studies and MA in Development Studies. She has been working with Women on Web since 2015. Currently, she is one of the Helpdesk Coordinator as well as the Asia Outreach Coordinator. For more than 15 years, she has been engaging with NGOs. She is active as a social science researcher and involved in PurpleCode Collective who focus on feminist principles on the internet.

Hazal Atay
Research Coordinator

Hazal Altay is Women on Web’s Research Coordinator and consultant to the WHO, where she works on their GAPD – The Global Abortion Policies Database. Ms. Altay holds a Master’s of Political Science, and has taught at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). Her research focuses on the fields of Gender Studies and addresses the social impacts of abortions. You can find her articles on the platform “The Conversation”, or dive into her research in studies like “Why Women Choose At-Home Abortion via Teleconsultation in France”.

Hannes-Jeremia is passionate about making the world a better place and works mostly for non-profits and foundations, claiming to do online marketing with a difference. Unser Helpdesk-Team
Unser Helpdesk ist das Herzstück unseres Angebots und besteht aus 28 Mitarbeiter_innen aus 18 Ländern. Sie absolvieren ein grundlegendes Training, um einen hochwertigen Service und Support zu gewährleisten. Unser Helpdesk ist rund um die Uhr an 365 Tagen in 16 Sprachen erreichbar und ist das entscheidende Bindeglied zwischen den Hilfesuchenden, dem medizinischen Team und dem Zugang zu Informationen und Medikamenten für eine Abtreibung.
Unser medizinisches Team
Unser medizinisches Team besteht aus fünf Ärzt_innen mit umfangreichen Kenntnissen und Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Abtreibungen online. Sie prüfen Online-Konsultationen, beantworten medizinische Fragen und führen Schulungen für unser Helpdesk-Team durch. Unser medizinisches Team erkennt eine Abtreibung zu Hause selbst durchzuführen, als legitime Art des Schwangerschaftsabbruchs an und unterstützt unsere Hilfesuchenden bei ihren verschiedenen Wegen der Selbsthilfe.

Unser Leitungsgremium setzt sich aus vier Mitgliedern zusammen, die aus den Bereichen Abtreibungsversorgung, Forschung, Non-Profit-Management und Recht kommen. Sie sind für die Leitung von Women on Web verantwortlich.

Unsere Mitwirkenden bestehen aus Autor_innen, Gutachter_innen und Übersetzer_innen, die gemeinsam evidenzbasierte, umfassende und landesspezifische Informationen zum Schwangerschaftsabbruch erarbeiten.
